Elon Musk’s Space Exploration Technologies (better known as SpaceX) went public in June to much fanfare. The rocket, satellite internet and AI giant raised eyebrows with a trillion-dollar-plus valuation at its June 12 initial public offering (IPO), and its stock has been on a roller coaster since.

Many IVA readers have been asking, “Which Vanguard funds hold SpaceX?”

Vanguard doesn’t disclose fund holdings daily—except for a handful of funds like the new active stock ETFs—so the exact answer hasn’t been easy to come by in real time. But I’ve done the legwork to answer the question with the best data available—quarter-end portfolio positions.

The table below shows which funds held SpaceX and its size within those portfolios at the end of June.
